Hy-pork-risyHaving grown up on a hog farm, pork is something that I've always known about. This, however, is not my father's pork. A couple of weeks ago my brother-in-law sent me the cartoon shown below. It's by Joe Heller of the Green Bay Press-Gazette and I believe it's from 2/26/2009.
Since it's obvious to anyone with a nose on his/her face that the Republicans are up to their usual political games, I don't need to say much. They are eager to spend, spend, spend on unnecessary wars without making any effort to pay for it, but when President Obama wants to spend to help average Americans, the Republicans say how awful it is to create debt for our grandchildren. Billions for foolish, useless wars but not one cent to help economic recovery or improve healthcare or education or to help the environment. End of 'Hy-pork-risy' Entry |
