Songs of the Season

One of the classes that Eric teaches at Verona Area High School is Exploring Music Technology.  In this class the students learn about the science of music, work with a lot of musical hardware and software, and make their own recordings.  Since he was working with the recording equipment, Eric decided to make a CD with several holiday songs for Christmas this year.

The songs he chose all have four vocal parts so, not letting that hamper him, he made recordings in which he sings all four of the parts.  If you would like to hear the quartet of Eric, Eric, Eric, and Eric, just click on the play button for any of the three songs below.

The First Noel

The Holly and the Ivy

Joy to the World

Note:  In addition to teaching full-time, Eric is working on his Masters Degree this year, so he doesn't have much free time.  He made these recordings rather quickly on the morning of Christmas Eve and promises to make some better recordings when he has time.  I think they already sound great!

Have a great 2010!
