It's Super!
The hype's been going on for a week and will continue for one
more week. Intelligent football fans everywhere are excited and overjoyed
that the Green Bay Packers are going to Super Bowl XLV (Is that the right
number? Why on earth do they use Roman Numerals?) in Arlington, Texas on
February 6.

I've heard quite a few interviews and read many newspaper
articles. A lot of people have contributed to the success of the team.
Mike McCarthy is an outstanding coach, Aaron Rodgers is an exceptional
quarterback, and all of the other players like Clay Matthews, Donald Driver,
Tramon Williams and many more have been playing up to their full potential.

But, they forget to credit the so-called "12th Man." So, let's give credit
to that guy who gets up every Sunday, rain, snow or shine, and dons his Packer
shorts, Packer t-shirt, and Packer sweatshirt; that stalwart follower of the
Green and Gold who drinks his coffee from his Packer cup and then cracks open an
ice-cold beer and pores it into his Packer mug; the man who faithfully watches
each game in a room covered with Packer pennants, with patio doors decked out in
Packer decals, and ... let's pause for a moment of silence ... with his framed
single share of Green Bay Packer stock hanging on the wall. Yes, America.
Let's hear it for the inimitable Green Bay Packer Fan!
