The tune of the refrain came to me one day.  I tried to come up with words for that tune and couldn't think of any.  After a while I came up a  tune and lyrics for the verses and decided to leave the wordless refrain alone.

A Little Something

1. A little something; only a song.
Not many lyrics, so it won’t be long
There is no reason, merely a rhyme.
A simple melody that came to mind.

2. I love the earth, love the sky,
Love this life, let me tell you why.
I love the flowers in the spring,
Love to laugh, really love to sing.

(Repeat Refrain)

3. Rising sun starts to light the sky.
Singing birds never question why.
Places to go and lots of things to do,
Another song I can sing for you.
