Oh, Woman

This song is just a joke.  I wrote it sometime in the 70s.  If you know Kathy you know that she never wastes a penny and certainly never got in trouble for spending my cash.

It is true, however, that when it came to cash there wasn't much at all.  There still isn't!

Oh, Woman

1.  I went down lookin' 'round;
Lookin' for a friend I found
Downtown not a sound
Everybody's underground
And you're gone;
You're not there at all.

2.  So let it be I'll set you free,
You never thought that much of me
Except when we would disagree
'Cause you went on a shopping spree
And spent my cash;
Which wasn't much at all.

Ref.  Oh woman
You make me so mad.
But, oh woman
You can make me glad.

3. When you smile and stop a while
And tell me that I'm just your style
And ask me to come home with you
So we can see what we can do
When we're alone
And have a lot of time.

Ref.  Oh woman
You make me so mad
But, oh woman, oh woman,
You make me so glad.

(Repeat Verse 3)

We're alone
And have a lot of time.
We're alone
And have a lot of time.
